Registrants must complete all three (3) registration steps. Incomplete registrations may be delayed or denied.
1. APPLICATION AND FEES (download)
Application forms may be mailed or emailed to TPCC. The Academy Fee is $575
($450 registration, $125 meals)
2. BACKGROUND CHECK* (WSP WATCH)
Background checks may be accomplished at any Police Department. Costs incurred are the responsibility of the registrant.
3. PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE JOURNAL* (download)
Registrants must complete twelve (12) hours of direct contact prior to attending the Academy.
Document all activity on the Practical Experience Journal.
* Commissioned Law Enforcement Officers and Firefighters need only to provide a written statement from their department confirming employment or a copy of their commission card.
